Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, or PBIS, is a county wide initiative that has been successful around the country in lowering the number of discipline incidents by recognizing positive behaviors.

At Kennedy Elementary, we believe that being Ready, Respectful, and Responsible is key to being successful in life.

Students work to earn Dragon Dollars and other incentives by showing these 3 important character traits each day.

Students who attended the 3rd Quarter PBIS party got to see Gutsy the Flying Fox as well as his friend Gusty.
Gutsy reviewed Kennedy's 3 R's.
Gusty led some student competitions while Gusty did some awesome slam dunk tricks.

3rd Quarter Party

Water Party

Our final PBIS party of the year was a water party. This is always the most anticipated party of the year. We had over 500 students attend this event. This year, the party was on Monday, May 21st. It cost 85 Dragon Dollars to attend. There were two huge water slides and an inflatable racing slip and slide. Students had a a great time!
